The bicep curl excerises were great at isolating the different heads that form the bicep and I was somewhat winded after that portion of the workout. The Ab Ripper is tough but I think that's where I need to focus most of my energy on since I need to cut up on my abdominal area.
The pull up routines werent effective at all and I skipped that portion of the workout.... I think they need to either add resistance in the form of weights or they need to empahsize more on the negatives by going up in increments of 2 seconds and slowly lowering the body in increments of 5 seconds.
I would suggest using 30-35 lb dumbbell weights for the arm exercises.
Ab RIPPER was a BEAST. Ican't wait til I'm able to actually complete the whole thing because this time I wasn't even close.
If you have the money its probably best to get indivdual weights rather than the ones where you can add and subtract in increments. It would make things go a lot faster.
Chris, I have to agree with you. Changing the weights for the different workouts was a pain in my ass. I'm just gonna invest in 15s and some 25s maybe. I'm not ready for 30-35s. Overall thought, I thought the Shoulders & Arms was a great workout. When I used to use free weights, I've never done or even seen some of the excercises we had to do. The Ab Ripper really put a hurting on me. I started doing the tight abdominal cramp on like the third excercise. Like Chris, I can't wait until I can do that whole routine. I may have done 30% of it.
Kamal, what dvd were you watching, there weren't any pull ups in what we did last night.
